Crimson Falls BACC - Week 5: Uni

Just a little note beforehand: I really, really don't like playing university. I have a mod that keeps the semesters very short, but due to that they don't have much time left to do anything besides studying. When I eventually earn a second university, I won't really add it, just virtually to the SM. I just dislike college too much to go through it two times a week. Now, on with the update!

Here they are, the first two Sims ever to enroll in Mauve University: Robin Langerak and Simon Dorrestein! Both kids of Jurriaan and Emmy Dorrestein (Robin was born before they got married). Let's see what this new adventure brings for them!

First things first; after decorating her dorm room she started working on her very first assignment.

Her little brother, whose room was right next to hers, did the same.

I wasn't planning on declaring a major right away, but Robin rolled the want to choose Physics as her major. Her LTW is to top the Gamer career, so Physics is definitely going to help her with that - don't ask me why, it's what the game said.

She already has quite some skills, but Charisma isn't one of them. She started working on it right after she choose her major.

Simon isn't in a hurry at all, calmy eating pancakes and not thinking about what mayor he will choose.

Robin quickly found a nice study group in three of the other girls in the same dorm. While chatting about Ellie's (on the right) new shoes, they really learned a lot.

I sent Simon outside, because there was a surprise waiting for him...

It was his friend Marsha Bruinig, grown into a young adult! I will be honest with you, I made quite a mistake here, thinking Marsha was his future wife. I only realized she was actually Philip Crimson's future wife when she already enrolled in University. Woops. Oh well, a degree wouldn't hurt her anyway.

Marsha, here pictured after her makeover, wasn't the only townie who came to college. Constantijn, Robin's boyfriend, came with her!

Marsha claimed the room next to Simon's. She's a Fortune/??? Sim (yep, forgot to write it down again and it isn't in my screenshot...) with the LTW to become Criminal  Mastermind. She's a 9/2/6/3/5 Virgo.

Constantijn was able to claim a room close to Robin's. He's a Popularity/??? Sim with the LTW to become Mayor. He's a Scorpio, 6/5/8/3/3.

Robin was so busy writing a paper, she didn't even notice Constantijn being around. Due to a bug, she failed her first semester (while at her exam, she kind of jumped right to the dorm so she 'missed' it). She has to do it all over again, so she was determined to make it this time.

She and Simon both went to college afterwards. Oh well, there will be a surprise for her when she comes home!

Marsha rolled the want to choose Maths as a major, which is great because her LTW is to top Criminal.

Constantijn sneaked into Robin's room to choose his major too. He picked Psychology, so he can later enroll in Law. His LTW is to top Politics, but that will not be available for a while as the population isn't even close to 1,000.

When Robin came home from college, she was indeed very surprised to see Constantijn there. Now that they were both grown up, they had to become friends all over again. All it took was a little flirt though, and they were best friends again.

They fell in love soon after; making out right there in the hallway. In the background you can see Marsha and another student dancing.

Now that they weren't teenagers anymore, they decided to take it to Constantijn's dorm room for some adult activities.

They shared their very first WooHoo that night.

Simon and Ellie shared some gossip about Constantijn.

They didn't share just some gossip, though. They also found out they had quite a connection, and Simon decided it wouldn't hurt to flirt a little.

He got interrupted by Constantijn proposing to his sister in the middle of the living room.

Of course, she accepted.

Simon also decided to go for it. He really liked Ellie and after the proposal, he followed her into the dining room - where they shared their first kiss.

I really like them together.


Despite finding love, Robin and Simon had to focus on their education and they couldn't spend much time with Constantijn and Ellie. Simon had declared drama als his major, because that would help him enroll in the sports career eventually.


The next evening, while some students were dancing in the kitchen/dining room, Simon decided he couldn't wait any longer. Everything just felt right; he simply knew Ellie was the one for him. So he got down on one knee and popped the question.


Robin was so busy dancing, she didn't even notice her brother proposing.


Of course, Ellie accepted. They continued to dance the night away.



Simon was the first to graduate! He returned to Crimson Falls right away. We'll see him in week 6! With the first Sim to graduate from College, we also unlocked the Science career.


Robin spent some time with Constantijn. Because of the bug in the first semester, Robin would be last of them to graduate. It gave her some extra time with her fiancé, though.


Robin also made sure to study a lot. She wasn't looking forward to being the last one to graduate, while her brother was still back to Crimson Falls and both Constantijn and Marsha would be soon, too.


Speaking of Constantijn, he also graduated and grew into an adult!


Marsha did pass her final exam, too. Both of them left University to go back to Crimson Falls.


Robin worked hard on her last assignment.

But luckily, she passed her final exam and graduated too!

Back to Crimson Falls!
