Crimson Falls BACC - Week 4: Dorrestein

It's time for week 4: Dorrestein! Robin and Simon have probably heard there are both a witch and a warlock in town.

Jurriaan and Emmy keep rolling wants for each other. Aren't they still adorable together?

Robin doesn't have to bend over any longer to hug her little brother, because...

It's time for Simon to become a teen!

He rolled Fortune/Romance (yay, I remembered to write it down!) with the LTW to become Hall of Famer.

Jurriaan got promoted to level 6! In case you forgot, he is in the Adventurer career. When he tops it, the career is completely unlocked.

Last week, Emmy rolled the want to have another baby. I decided to let faith decide; I made them try for baby once. If there wouldn't be a lullaby, I wouldn't try again.

Robin and Simon both rolled the want to go to university. Now that there's Mauve University, they both have to make sure to get two scholarships, otherwise they won't get in. Robin tries to gain some logic skills, while Simon reads to gain mechanical skills. When they are over level 8, I only need to make sure they have good grades.

Seems like Emmy doesn't have to worry about empty nest syndrome when Robin and Simon are going to uni!

Now that their skills are high enough, all Robin and Simon have to do to enroll in university is get their grades up to an A+.

Pop! Baby on the way!

Just like her first two pregnancies, Emmy is very hungry while pregnant.

Now that Jurriaan has a job, they (or I ;-)) kind of forget they also have a business. Sometimes they remember, though, and when Emmy's motives are ok she likes to sew for a bit.

Robin and Simon both apply for scholarships. Both of them get the SimCity Scholar Grant, Robin gets the Will Wright Genius Grant and Simon gets the Bui Engineering Award. That means they are ready to go to Mauve University by the end of this week!

Emmy is heavily pregnant by now, so they will surely meet their new baby brother or sister before they leave.

Robin kept rolling the want to use the telescope. I realized there must be a scholarship for a teen who got abducted, and I never managed to get it. Maybe she would!

The next morning when Robin and Simon were at school, Niels Swaan walked by. Emmy was low on her social bar so she greeted him. It turned out to be a good choice: she got a big tv as a networking gift, which they sold immediately.

Jurriaan got demoted due to a bad chance card. Too bad!

Robin brought home Constantijn and they decided to hang out together, next to Emmy who was still socializing with Niels.

Simon brought home Rick Kannebrij, who were hanging out inside.

Having that many visitors over at the same time had its consequences, though.

Jurriaan got home from work with a promotion, he's now back at level 6, where he also was before he got degraded.

As Robin is a knowledge Sim, I let her use the abduction perk to increase her chances on the Extraterrestrial Reparation Grant.

I got distracted though... It's baby time! Simon is quite shocked about it.

They had a little boy who they named Nolan.

After the initial shock was over, Simon couldn't be happier about his new baby brother.

I put their wardrobe in Emmy's inventory to make a little room for Nolans crib, changing table and toys. As soon as Robin and Simon go to university, he can have their room. For now this will have to do.

While I was being distracted by the birth of Nolan, I did miss something...

Robin apparently got abducted by aliens. Yay for another scholarship!

Simon keeps autonomously playing with his little brother. Though he isn't a Family Sim, I can definitely see him have a couple of his own babies later.

Emmy loves having a baby again. Though it means the shop won't get as many attention as it probably needed, having Nolan around seemed much more important.

Robin maxed Logic, so there's at least an opening in Science waiting for her. It's nice to have options.

I then remembered she had to apply for scholarships again to get the alien abduction scholarship.

Robin is also quite cute with Nolan, though she seems a bit less interested in him than Simon.

As the week was almost over, they called a nanny to take care of Nolan so the four of them could go to Stitches. We hadn't been there all week so there was some work to do.

They worked along great. Robin worked as a cashier, Simon did the restocking, Emmy and Jurriaan were in charge of the sales.

By the time they leave, Stitches reached level 8. They already had all the cash perks, so now they went for the wholesale discount.

Kiss that little belly one last time, Emmy, because...

Little Nolan will be a toddler!

There he is! Too bad he's a clone of Robin, which means he's a 10/2/8/10/3 Virgo. I always roll the dice so I was a bit bummed out, but luckily he's a boy so it won't be too obvious.

The party doesn't last very long, because it's Sunday evening. Which means Robin and Simon have to leave: off to university!

Luckily Emmy and Jurriaan have Nolan to keep them busy. And that's it for this week!
