The Foss Legacy 3.1

Laurel and Ned continue to be totally adorable together. Ned moves in with the Foss family and is now officially the primary spouse for generation 3!

Here he is after a makeover. His aspiration is Renaissance Sim and I think he’s very handsome!

Judah is an adorable toddler, though his Clingy trait is slightly annoying sometimes.

Let’s hope Owen rolls a better trait. Independent, for example.

Nope. Fussy it is. He’s lucky he’s so darn cute! But he doesn’t have Laurel’s eye color.

Ohh, brothers. It’s so cute. I love and hate the toddler stage at the same time.

Laurel gets a job offer, she can start at level 5 of the Business career. She accepts is, as she doesn’t have a job yet. It isn’t necessary when it comes to money, but topping a new career gives me points so this is good. Just a random picture of her and Judah to illustrate it.

Smelly, naughty toddler alert! Owen is a handful compared to his big brother.

Kai walks by and I quickly send him away. I have no idea about the amount of jealousy Sims have in Sims 4, and I’m not going to test it.

Judah maxes out his communication skill just in time for his birthday.

It’s the holiday that marks the start of the legacy (first day off spring). The current tradition is to do something creative, in honour of Poppy.

And it’s also Judah’s birthday!

He rolls Loves the Outdoors and his aspiration is Artistic Prodigy. I think he looks a lot like his mom when she was a child.

Laurel’s first day at work ends in her leaving early because she goes into labour. Father Winter also makes a quick appearance.

It’s a girl! Her name is Delia.

Both Maxwell and Jane are level 10 parenting, so Delia gets tossed in the air a lot because of the super efficient baby care. It’s great and it saves so much time. The downside is Laurel actually never haves to take care of her own child.

Speaking of Maxwell...

He is now an elder! I think I’m going to age up Jane in a few days, as I think it’s really weird Sims don’t age while pregnant and they’re so far apart in age now. It just doesn’t make sense.

The primary spouse should have at least one biological child, don’t you think?

I definitely do think so. And Ned does, too! There’s no doubt about it that this one is going to be a blonde baby, lol. Also, about babies: I got a couple of notifications. Carissa is now a single mom of baby boy Jackson, whose dad is actually married to someone else. Duncan is married to a girl named Sundae and they now have a daughter named Breeze. And Maya, just like her sister, also has an affair with a married man. And... she had twins! A boy and a girl: Lathan and Starling. MCCC is great, but it’s also making the family tree rather complicated. I flagged Sarah’s oldest child Acacia, who just became a young adult, to not have any children. It makes me a bit sad, but I feel like the whole world will be just Foss offspring within a couple of generations if I allow them all to get pregnant :-(

Let’s find out what Father Winter’s baby will look like.

Aww, another blonde child with the Foss eyes. I was really hoping for some variety in hair color this generation, with all the different fathers. But it seems like it’s going to be three blonde kids again - and Owen, but as he doesn’t have the Foss eyes he isn’t my first choice to be heir. Her toddler trait is Wild, by the way. Oh joy.

She immediately displays her Wild trait. I get the feeling she is going to turn out just like her mom... Which is a handful.

I have no clue why, but some of the computers are gone. The chess board with the chairs have also vanished. Luckily they have enough money to buy a new one, but the computer was from Ridge’s career and I’m really annoyed it’s just gone. Judah uses the now empty desk to do his homework.

After some Googling, I learned it was because of the new expansion I bought (Eco Lifestyle) and something called Neighbourhood Action Plans. I completely missed that, but there was some NAP with sharing, which literally meant everyone could take all of your stuff away. I'll fully admit: I cheated it away, as I was totally unaware of this NAP. I had no idea how to make it go away and it really made me want to delete the entire save, I was totally fed up with it. So now, it's bye bye Sharing is Caring bullsh*t for this neighbourhood. Sorry, not sorry.

Another birthday, this time it’s Owen’s.

He rolls Perfectionist as his first trait, and his aspiration is Rambunctious Scamp.

Judah loves his little sister. He always makes his homework close to her. And I think toddlers who take naps are just too cute!

The other generation 3 kids come by regularly. They all have a house key so they’re always welcome. Ned is especially fond of his oldest sister-in-law Carissa, they are good friends and often play a game of chess together.

Here we go again! This might be the last baby of generation 4. I’m still not sure.

Ned is actually the kind of guy to stay close to his girlfriend during labour. I love him.

They have another boy, his name is Aaron. I love how the previous generation was 3 girls and 1 boy, and this generation is the opposite!

Judah finishes his Artistic Prodigy aspiration! I feel like this is the easiest child aspiration somehow, probably because of all the items that boost the ‘inspired’ mood I got from Poppy’s career. He reached level 10 in no time at all, and will work on Rambunctious Scamp next, just like his younger brother.

I felt like, as the primary spouse, I was obligated to get Ned and Laurel married. So Ned proposed. At the beach, of course. Laurel happily accepted.

Like I told you: Delia is just like Laurel. In the background, Judah is working on his aspiration. I think it’s weird they also get motor skills from sitting on their butts and use the computer to type, but hey, who am I to judge?

Laurel is starting to feel sorry for her own parents, now that she has four kids of her own. I love to see the roles are now reversed.

The Foss Legacy 3.0

Oops! I completely forgot about Jane's birthday. She ages up by herself and is now mad at me.

The next day is Harvestfest. Their dining table got a little upgrade, so there are now six seats. That immediately gives us a point during their grand meal.

Harvestfest ends good for Laurel and Ferdinand. WooHoo!

It does have consequences though. Laurel seems like she isn’t sure what to think of it. I figured her aspiration would be perfect for her having kids from multiple men, deciding later who will be the (primary) spouse. It’s a great way to get more variety in the next generation.

The next day, Laurel goes out to meet some new Sims. As she needs lots of boyfriends and girlfriends for her aspiration, it would be nice to have some waiting in line already.

After making some new friends and meeting some potential baby daddies, Ferdinand calls to invite her over to his place. She accepts and they go on a date, completing her first aspiration milestone.

Ferdinand is incredibly sad when Laurel asks him to only be friends. I'm sorry, Fer. If you're still available when Laurel completes her aspiration, you might become her spouse after all. For now, you're just the first baby daddy.

It’s time for Carissa to become an adult and move out!

She rolls Art Lover to go with Good and Cheerful, and moves out. Bye, Carissa, we’ll check in with you sometime!

Do you see that satisfied smirk on Jane’s face? That’s because she just completed her Super Parent aspiration! I give her Beach Life next, though I’m not sure I’ll actually work on that for now.

Laurel is huge, and it won’t be long before the first kid of generation 4 will be born. I’m so excited!

Sarah calls, asking Maxwell to come for a visit. He takes Jane with him. Let’s take a look at her three children!

From left to right: Acacia, Blythe and Gaius. Aren’t they adorable? Acacia looks just like Sarah and Poppy, when it comes to her facial features!

It’s time! Generation 4 is coming!

Ferdinand briefly shows up at the hospital to freak out about his upcoming baby he won’t have anything to do with. No worries, dude. He’s gone before I could even take a picture, so Laurel has to check in by herself. Pre: no baby daddy preferring playing The Sims or eating a sandwich instead of staying close to his wife.

It’s a boy! His name is Judah. I can’t believe we’re already down to generation 4!

This is what I call: no time to waste. In case he looks familiar to you: he’s the son of Jackson Miller, Poppy’s other possible spouse! His name is Kai and he’s actually married, but that doesn’t matter when it comes to baby making.

They share their first kiss, quickly followed by some steamy shower WooHoo.

Maxwell is there to take care of his grandson, while Laurel is busy making another gen. 4 baby. Hell, I might even try the 10-baby-thing this generation. It’s like a little sneak peek at what a 100 baby challenge would be like! I’m a bit limited by the maximum of 8 Sims per household though, so I feel like 10 babies would take forever. I’m going to consider it.

Baby #2 is on its way! After notifying Kai, she asks him to be her boyfriend. He accepts, even though he’s married.

It’s time for the twins to grow up and move out. It’s going to be a lot quieter in the Foss household.

Maya rolls Family Oriented to go with Romantic and Cheerful. Duncan rolls Art Lover to go with Good and Perfectionist. Bye, guys! Have a good life!

Maxwell and Jane look slightly too happy their two youngest kids are leaving, lol.

And it’s not the only birthday today. It’s time to see what Judah looks like.

He rolls Clingy as his toddler trait and I believe he has the exact same coloring as his mom, though I’m not 100% sure about the skin tone.

Jonah is so lucky to have a mom with the Childish trait. Despite being an only child for now, he always has someone to play with.

Maya comes over for the Winterfest grand meal, and they all eat together. Even Judah sits next to the dining table with his plate. And wow, Laurel is huge again!

Oh, it’s a shame Laurel is already pregnant. I really want a Father Winter baby! They do flirt for a while, though, and exchange phone numbers. I’m not sure if you can actually invite Father Winter over when it’s not Winterfest, but if it’s possible, she’s definitely going to have his child!

She actually asks him to be her boyfriend after their first kiss, and he accepts. I didn’t even know this was possible, and I think it’s really funny.

Here we go again! Kai actually stays around long enough for me to take a picture.

It’s another boy. Welcome to the legacy, Owen. Just when they arrive home, I get a notification that Carissa, Duncan and Maya are all married and expecting babies, too! How exciting!

Look who’s there! Father Winter, always up for some baby making.

Baby Winter on the way! I have no idea yet how much children Laurel should be having. Maybe I need to start finding her a husband.

And this guy could be the lucky one. His name is Ned and he autonomously starts taking care of Owen when he is invited. His traits are Neat, Self Assured and Clumsy. He seems to be good spouse material, though he is in desperate need of a makeover.

I think they’re adorable together.
