Crimson Falls BACC - Week 12: Den Dolder

Last week, Stella Crimson and her boyfriend Gary den Dolder graduated college.




Does this house look familiar to you? It was the very first house of Noah and Els Mauve! And it’s now owned by Gary den Dolder and Stella Crimson. I didn’t even change a thing about the furnishing, but I might change my mind about that later.

So, I’m not sure why he’s naked, but Gary found a job in the Business career at level 2. 

Oh, that’s why.

The welcome wagon was Owen Bell, Armando Verbon and Cecily Lillig - the latter being mostly interested in the flowers. 

Jeez Stella, you don’t even have a job yet!

Gary got promoted to level 3.

Stella is now in her last trimester. I guess she’s only going to find a job once the baby is born, as there still isn’t an open position in Military.

Not much happened in between. Time to meet the newest addition to the family!

Say hi to Timothy Crimson. 

Unlike her twin sister Naomi, being a mom was quite hard on Stella. Even though she didn’t have a job and was home to take care of Timothy, she often had to be reminded of his existence in order to take care of him. She loved him to pieces, though, she just wasn’t a natural.

Now that they had a son, Gary felt like the time was right to propose. Stella happily accepted.

Their wedding was just a small, private ceremony on their own balcony, with the dirty breakfast dishes still in the background. It was exactly what suited them.

Only hours after her becoming Mrs. Den Dolder, Stella made a discovery. She was expecting their second child, much earlier than they planned on, due to failed birth control.

Another promotion for Gary. They could definitely use the money now that their family was expanding sooner than expected.

By the time she started showing, Stella had come to terms with the idea of having another child so soon. Though she still had her hands full with Timothy, she was starting to feel like she could handle it.

Birthday time for little Timothy!

I think he looks mostly like Gary. Tim’s incredibly outgoing and nice.

Pop! This baby will be born just in time for this rotation. Stella is rubbing her belly all the time.

As expected, labour started only moments before the rotation was over.

Crimson Falls BACC - Week 12: Oef

Last week, Naomi Crimson and her boyfriend Alan went to college. Alan proposed just before they graduated, so they're now engaged.

Alan and Naomi bought a nice house together.

As Alan’s LTW is to have 6 pets reach their top career level, it’s necessary for them to have pets. So he immediately left for a visit to the petshop to buy two dogs. 

This one is Guinevere.

And this one is Lancelot.

Yay, some variety in the welcome wagon! This time it’s Linnea Easton, Simon Dorrestein and Armando Verbon (Laurie Bruinig’s new boyfriend). 

After an intense and busy first day of their adult life, Alan and Naomi fell asleep.

The next morning, both Alan and Naomi accepted a career in the Business track. I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to leave the two dogs home alone during the day, but there was only one way to find out. 


Naomi got a promotion because of a good chance card. She went right back to work. 

Like I expected, the dogs need a little bit more training before they can stay home alone. Luckily there wasn’t any damage that couldn’t be resolved. 

Alan got promoted to level 2, while his girlfriend was already up to level 3.

Naomi was shocked to find out she was pregnant already. Sure, she’s a Family Sim, but she intended to have some kind of career first before starting to pop out babies.

She tried telling Alan about their bun in the oven, but he passed out in his grilled cheese sandwich. Oh, the joy of living with a Grilled Cheese secondary...

The minute Alan found out they were expecting, he loved the baby right away. He was determined to provide for his growing family and climbing the career ladder as soon as he could. 

Another promotion for both of them!

To get started on his LTW, Alan found a job for both of the dogs. Guinevere got into the Service career while Lancelot became a security dog.

Another pop for Naomi. I can’t wait to see what their child looks like!

The very pregnant Naomi got promoted because of a good chance card. She went right back to work and got promoted again! She looked so happy. 

As it was Alan’s LTW, he was the one to train the dogs. 

That night, Naomi’s contractions started. Alan had a little bit of trouble waking up to witness the birth of his first child.

She gave birth to Felix Crimson, who inherited her alien eyes.

The nursery was small, but had everything they needed.

This time, it was Alan to get two promotions in one day, while Naomi got ‘only’ one. Too bad it’s weekend now so they won’t be able to top their careers this rotation.

Guinevere brought home the first pet promotion of this challenge, if I recall it correctly!

Wedding time!

Aww, I love wedding parties and I play them far less than I should in The Sims. Even the maid (though he’s male, but I’m not sure what the correct name is) was dressed up for the occasion. Too bad Joel and Robert didn’t show up.

Philip, the proud father of the bride, did a speech. So did Gary, their son in law, as they made a toast.

The party was a roof raiser - and yes, everyone left while both of the newlyweds were using the toilet to get rid of all the drinks, lol.

Of course, I made sure to take some wedding pictures.

They celebrated by themselves that night.

Yay, just what we needed! Thanks for the wedding gift, gypsy!

On Sunday evening, Felix celebrated his first birthday.

Wow, it’s obvious who has the stronger genes here. His personality is more like his mom’s though: Felix is incredibly outgoing, very nice yet a bit lazy. 

That, and he’s just totally adorable.

I almost forgot about it, but on Sunday evening, Skylar joined their family. They would take care of her next rotation, while Skylar’s mom (and Naomi’s sister) Leia was at college.

This family donated 100,000 to the university fund. We’re getting close to opening another one!
