Crimson Falls BACC - Week 4: Mauve

We start this week with Kendra and Noah playing red hands. They are getting along very well. Let's not forget to mention: because Simon and Robin enrolled in Mauve University, the family received 100.000 simoleons!

Noah keeps rolling nature-related wants, but he's not the best bug cachter in the Sim world. I think his disappointed face is adorable, though.

I guess he got his interest in nature from his mother, who also likes to look for birds and catch bugs every day.

As it was Noah's first day of school, Sarah helped him with his homework afterwards.

Shortly after, a stray cat walked by. His name was Kimo and he made me realize there weren't any pets in Crimson Falls yet.

Time to change that! Sarah immediately rolled the want to have a pet, so I made her befriend Kimo.

It doesn't take her long before she can adopt him. Welcome to the family, Kimo! It's quite an honour to be the first pet in this BACC, so please behave yourself and don't make me regret it :-)


Sarah was so busy with their new pet, she missed Kendra's birthday. Luckily Noah and Mariette van der Bend, who walked by, were there to see her growing into adulthood.


She's so pretty! I can't wait to see her future babies.


Speaking of babies, there's a man needed for that. I made Alwin van der Voeten grow up with her and she calls to invite him over.


Sarah is so happy about having a cat now! I bought them some cat stuff and Sarah just keeps walking around with this smile on her face.



That smile quickly went away when Kimo started destroying their furniture, though.


Oh, hi there Alwin, still cute as always!

As I only move out adult Sims at the end of a week, to keep their ages accurate, I decided to move Alwin in with them for now. They will move to a place of their own by the end of this week.

Here he is after a little makeover. He's a 9/2/6/3/5 Virgo, a Knowledge/??? (yep, forgot to write it down again) Sim with the LTW to become Education Minister.

Alwin en Kendra celebrated their birthdays in a way they can, now that they're adults :-)

That's right, Kimo, use the scratching post instead of the furniture!

He still does have some questionable behaviour left, though. Oh well, it takes some time for him to adjust.

That night, while they were having a quick dinner of leftovers, Kendra got a big surprise: Alwin asked her to marry him! She said yes, obviously. Look at Alwin's happy face, he's adorable!

Their happiness is rudely interrupted because Kendra started feeling sick. Or could she be pregnant, maybe?!

Sarah isn't feeling very sorry for her sick daughter, she just wants her to get out of the bathroom so she can take a shower.

In the meantime, Noah and Alwin have a chat about sports. They hit it off, which is great because they have to live together for a couple more days.

The next morning, Kendra isn't feeling any better. There's no doubt about it: there's a baby on the way!

With this family full of neat Sims, things won't be dirty for long. Alwin and Sarah make a great team keeping the house clean.

Sarah rolled the want for WooHoo. As her secondary aspiration is Romance, of course I wouldn't call Goofy again. Berend Lillig it was.

Noah is such a smart kid. I like him, despite being the son of one of my least favorite Sims.

Despite being pregnant, I made Kendra look for a job. She wants to top the Adventurer career and that one's unlocked. I was lucky, as there was an opening today. She started of at level 1.


Noah is very excited about Kendra being pregnant, he can't wait to be an uncle!

Kendra took a nap right after lunch, but she woke up because: POP!

Noah is such a sweet kid. He keeps rolling wants for Kimo, they are becoming great friends.

I totally missed it, but apparently Alwin got abducted by aliens! I love aliens, but this might not be the best timing in the world.

Sarah agrees with me. The house isn't big enough for both Kendra and Alwin have a baby almost at the same time. She's excited to become a grandmother, but they really need to think about how to fit in this house all together. The babies will be born this rotation, so they have to figure it out anyway.

Noah likes babies though, so he doesn't mind.

And then, this happened. Oops! Sarah is pregnant with Berend Lillig's baby. So now we have three pregnant people and a child in this small house.

Kendra has her second pop. She will be the first one to have her baby, soon.

His pregnancy is quite hard on Alwin. Poor guy.

Noah seems to be the only one who doesn't worry about all the upcoming babies.

Noah and Alwin became best friends. I'm not sure why Noah suddenly doesn't like his mother anymore, probably because she's pregnant with someone who's not his father?

That night, it was time for the first baby to be born!

Oh. My. God. I'm not sure why you're cheering, Sarah, as things just got even more complicated.

This is Cecily, a little girl.

And this is Thomas, her twin brother. Alwin and Kendra are not married yet, so their last name is Mauve.

I saw no other option than building them a little shed with four cribs and a changing table. It's very inappropriate, so thank God it's just the Sims and not real life :-)

Alwin comforts his wife, who is quite upset by suddenly having twins.

The next morning, Kendra went to work for the first time.

Alwin gets his second pop. Both he and Sarah will have their babies soon.

When Kendra is at work, Sarah and Alwin are taking good care of the twins.

 That afternoon, Sarah goes into labour. Luckily, there are already 6 Sims and 2 are pregnant so I don't have to worry about this being twins.

Meet Oscar Mauve, a little boy.

I'm not sure the baby shed is such a great idea. I just don't have any other options. Poor kids, hang in there, we're near the end of the week...

And there's one more baby on the way! Alwin goes into labour shortly after 6 PM.

He has an adorable little girl named Scottie.

And so, all four cribs in their baby shed are filled.

Alwin is completely in love with his little alien girl. He also loves the other babies, sure, but he keeps rolling wants for Scottie.

In all the chaos that comes with four babies, I totally missed Noah's birthday. Here he is though! He rolled Family/Knowledge with the LTW to become Media Magnate.

That day, there were three more birthdays to celebrate. First up are the twins.

Here's Cecily. She's gorgeous! She's a 10/9/3/3/10 cancer.


And here's Thomas. He's a 3/6/7/2/8 Pisces, so quite different from his twin sister.


I placed two potties outside (I know, I didn't know where else...) and they immediately started to get the twins potty trained.

But there was one more baby waiting to become a toddler: Little Oscar.

He looks so much like Berend! He's a 2/3/5/10/8 Aquarius.

Now little Scottie was suddenly the only baby left. Not for long, though.

It's Sunday evening, so it's time for Alwin, Kendra and their three kids to find a place of their own.

And we end this crazy week with Oscar and Kimo having dinner together. Whew, that was an eventful week! Let's see what this does for our statistics. This was where I noticed the Adventurer career wasn't unlocked yet, as Jurriaan didn't top it yet. So Kendra has a job she shouldn't have. I'll take care of that next rotation. Oh, and by the way, they were able to donate anoter 200.000 simoleons to the public university fund! We're halfway there!
