Crimson Falls BACC - Week 5: Dorrestein

We're off to an eventful start of the fifth week of the Dorrestein household: a burglar! It's the second one, so one more burglary and there's a position open in Law Enforcement.

He stole the barstools, but Emmy quickly called the police and they managed to catch him.

Emmy became an elder! She needed a little makover.

There she is! I'm impressed with how well these Sims are aging up. She's still absolutely stunning!

I'm determined to unlock the adventurer career this rotation, as I already have another Sim (Kendra Mauve) in that career by mistake. It means Jurriaan has to top it. He's at level 7 right now, so he went skilling like crazy in order to top it this week.

With both Simon and Robin at university, Emmy was glad to still have little Nolan around. She taught him how to talk.

Jurriaan also celebrated his birthday.

He became best friends with his youngest son while playing with the rabbit head together.

Jurriaan also managed to get Nolan potty trained! It's a benefit of having only one child at home; there's a lot of attention for little Nolan.

It didn't took him long to also learn his last skill: walking.

You wouldn't say if trom the look on his face, but Jurriaan actually got promoted to level 8. Two more promotions to go!

It's time for the youngest Dorrestein to become a child!

There he is! We already found out that he's a clone of Robin, but I don't mind. He's cute.

Now that she doesn't have to look after a toddler anymore, Emmy found some time to sew again.

Nolan wore his big brother's old outfit as pajama's.

He's really a joy to have around, autonomously cleaning and stuff.

Jurriaan got lucky! Due to a good chance card, he was promoted to level 9.

I kind of forgot that Jurriaan and Emmy had some homemade clothing, so I gave them a makeover. Emmy made both of their outfits.

Nolan came home from his first day at school, and Emmy helped him with his homework. They had a little quality time afterwards.

As Jurriaan needed quite some more skills and the week was almost coming to an end, he used the Thinking Cap. I hardly ever use aspiration rewards, so this was a first for me, too.

When Jurriaan was already at work, I noticed they needed one more family friend to reach level 10. Emmy quickly invited Niels Swaan and befriended him.

It worked! Apparently Jurriaan was still wearing his thinking cap when he went to work, but who cares. He topped the adventurer career, so it's now unlocked! Nolan is so proud of his father.

Jurriaan got a call from a neighbor, giving him an expensive computer as a networking gift. It was sold right away.

The week was almost coming to an end and I kind of wanted Stitches to reach level 10, so they went to the store.

This was where I first saw ACR affecting my Sims on community lots!

Jurriaan earned both his silver sales badge and his bronze cashier badge. Emmy even dazzles her own son in law, but it worked.

Because this is the very last star they needed. Stitches is now level 10! That means another position in Business is open now. I guess it will be unlocked soon anyway, as next up this rotation is Goofy Kardinaal and he's already at level 6.

And we end this quite succesful week with Emmy reading a bedtime story to Nolan. They were able to donate another §85.000 to the university fund. We're getting close to builing a public university!
