Crimson Falls BACC - Week 9: Dorrestein

Last week, Jacob and his father Jurriaan moved into another house. They adopted two dogs, Piper and Penny. Jurriaan had a fling with neighbour Sarah van der Storm, but sadly, he passed away before things could get serious. Jacob, who was still a teen, was devastated that he was now by himself.

A little note before we'll visit Jacob this week: I just installed the Inteenimater and wasn't exactly sure how I should use it together with ACR. I also changed my gameplay a bit; using a calculation to see whether my Sims should or shouldn't break up, so I can spice things up a bit.

Jacob was happy to have the company of his dogs, as he was getting quite lonely without anyone around.

As it was now possible, Jacob invited his girlfriend Samantha Terhaar over and she moved in. That would make things less boring for me to play, and his social bar might stay in the green.

She's so pretty! She's a Popularity/Pleasure Sim with the LTW to become mayor. Her personality is 5/3/7/3/7 Pisces. I cheated her to be around the same age as Jacob.

As I felt like I should do more to get the Sim Multiplier up, I let Jacob take all of the money from his savings account and buy a community lot.

This is Crimson Falls Library (not quite original, I know), the 13th community lot in Crimson Falls. 

Jacob got his golden sales badge quite fast, and started Dazzling the hell out of his customers. I set the ticket price to 999 for a while, but it didn't feel quite right to keep going until he earned enough for a second university so I set the price back to average after a while.

When he left the library, it was at level 5. Of course, he took all the cash perks.

At home, Samantha and Jacob had their own way of celebrating Jacob's success.

It made quite an impression on both of them, as they couldn't stop thinking about it, even while they were looking for jobs. Jacob wanted to enroll in the Business career, as I'd like to unlock another Business District, but there wasn't anything available today. Samantha was luckier: she found a job in the Politics career.

I guess having the Inteen and ACR together, makes birth control mandatory. I guess I was a bit too late to realize that. But as Jacob and Samantha seemed so serious together, I thought it would be okay to have them have a baby.

Pop! It's confirmed, the first teen mom in Crimson Falls will be Samantha Terhaar.

Despite not being featured in this update very much, the dogs aren't short of any attention.

Jacob doesn't live alone anymore, but he still keeps taking friends home after school.

Despite the pregnany not being planned, Samantha seems so thrilled to have a baby soon! She just got her second pop.

Having two dogs was quite nice, as they played together most of the time and didn't have to rely on Sims for their social bars.

More friends brought home from school. It's really nice to get their family friends total up.

But before their baby is born, it's birthday time for Jacob.

Handsome as ever.

That night, just after they went to bed, Samantha went into labour.

She immediately handed over their daughter Ariel to Jacob, because...

There was another baby coming! This one is a boy, Nathan.

Just my luck, having twins on my first accidental inteenimater pregnancy. Oh well, I'm sure Jacob and Samantha are going to be great at the whole parenting thing!

They put the babies in the newly furnished nursery, as it was time to celebrate another birthday.

Samantha became an adult.

Taking care of two babies was actually easy on them.

Piper was having a little fun with a stray dog who walked by.

Nolan came to visit his little brother and his newborn niece and nephew.

He carefully fed Nathan his bottle, while Jacob watched them proudly.

It might not be the most romantic proposal ever, but Jacob asked Samantha to marry him.


He also rolled the want to have a roommate. I never used that feature before, but they have a spare room, so: why not?


I forgot to write down his name, but this old man came to live with them for a while.


Samantha got promoted to level 5 of the politics career. She just became an adult and is already halfway for her LTW!


That night, it was already birthday time for the twins. First up was Nathan.


He's a Virgo, 10/4/10/5/4. And he's adorable!


While Samantha quickly changed into her everyday clothes, Jacob took Nathan to the potty for the first time. Nathan didn't like it.

Just before the rotation was over, Samantha helped Ariel aging up as well.

Aww, these two make some very cute babies together! Ariel's a Sagittarius, 4/5/9/7/3.
And that's it for this week! They were able to donate 250,000 Simoleons towards the university fund.
