Crimson Falls BACC - Week 9: Dorrestein II

Last week, the Dorrestein II family moved into a new house. They just welcomed baby Ryder and needed a bigger house for the four of them. Simon reached his LTW of topping the Slacker career and Ellie also got a few promotions. By the end of the week, both Hunter and Ryder had a birthday and now are a teen and a child.

Ryder and Hunter are working on their body skills in the back yard.

Simon (secondary Romance) rolled the want to WooHoo with three different Sims. As he had already WooHooed with Marsha and Ellie, he only needed one more. So he invited Anne Cooper, who he was already friends with.

With two bolts, ACR kicked in immediately.

But just as they started to WooHoo...

...Ellie came home from work.

She was devastated and so, so angry at her husband for cheating on her.

I'm not sure what Simon is angry about, as it was his fault.

But Ellie didn't had any mercy. She wanted a divorce. (do you see what I see in the background? oh, the drama...)

Hunter came home from school just in time to see his dad leave and get angry at him.

As this week is called Dorrestein II, and this all happened on a Monday before 6PM, we'll follow Simon to his new home and get back to Ellie, Hunter and Ryder later this rotation.

As nobody was living in their old home, Simon bought it back. Anne moved in with him.
Speaking of Anne, I gave her a little makeover. She's a Knowledge/Wealth Sim with the LTW to max all 7 skills. She's a Virgo, 9/2/6/3/5. As I kind of liked the idea of Simon leaving Ellie for a younger woman, I didn't age her to the same age as Simon. She already had a job in the Slacker career at level 3.

Uh-oh...

There was a welcome wagon (Cecily Mauve, William van der Voeten and Travis Lillig), but William really didn't agree on Simon and Anne's relationship.

Simon really had some sort of midlife crisis, though it isn't possible in The Sims 2. He just kept rolling Romance-related wants all of a sudden.

Anne turned out to be expecting their first child together.

Simon and Anne did some ACR flirting.

But when Anne was at work, Simon invited Cecily Mauve over. He wanted to WooHoo with five different Sims and also had rolled the want for Cecily to be #4.

Simon, still thinking about his divorce, ACR flirted with Cecily and they fell in love.

WooHoo number four. Thank God Anne didn't come home early.

Anne came home with a promotion to level 4 and her second pop. Because I made her go to work, the times where she pops are a bit odd.

The next morning, she went into labour. Simon slept through it, only waking up a bit annoyed when the baby was almost born. Their maid was present at the birth.

Simon didn't bother supporting his girlfriend. When their little girl was born, he was busy repairing the shower.

Here she is; Vida Cooper.

It was mostly Anne who took care of little Vida, as Simon was being a real jerk. He never rolled any want for his daughter.

All he thought about was WooHoo. I really wonder what happened to him.

I was able to capture the only thing Simon did for his baby daughter, though. He gave her a bottle exactly once, when Anne was at work.

Anne got a bad chancecard and got demoted to level 3. Luckily, she could get back to work right away.

Simon invited a friend over for WooHoo. This was #5 and he immediately roll the want to WooHoo with 10 different Sims, but I'm not sure I'm going to let him.

While he was busy WooHooing, Vida needed to get her diaper changed and was crying her eyes out. Poor thing.

Luckily, Anne came home. With a promotion back to level 4.

All the WooHooing did had its consequences.

Another promotion for Anne! She's now at level 5.

It was birthday time for Vida!

She's gorgeous! She's a Scorpio, 10/5/9/7/3.

In the meantime, Anne had her second pop - which I missed.

Anne was doing really great at work! She got promoted to level 6.

Vida is so adorable!

I forced Simon to have a little interaction with his daughter, hoping this would trigger him to roll more wants for her. No luck so far, but at least they were bonding for a bit.

We'll end this week with Anne getting her second pop (which I missed - again).

Only by editing the stats, I realized Anne wasn't able to keep her job in the Slacker career, as there was only one open position and Simon got that one. I'll take care of that next rotation.
