Last week, Noah Mauve bought a house of his own and moved in his college fling Els van der Toorn. As a Family Sim, it didn't take Noah long to get Els pregnant. They both got a job and had a son, Gabriel.
Noah loved being a dad.
In fact, he loved it so much he kept thinking about adopting another kid. I might do that later.
Because they were going to have another biological child first!
Noah got promoted to level 7 of the Journalism career.
It was birthday time for Gabriel! He looks so much like his mom. He's an Aries, 3/10/7/3/3.
First things first; Els got him to the potty.
Having a toddler was as good for Noah as having a baby. He loved every life stage his dear son went through, keep rolling wants for him.
Els got her second pop.
Getting promoted to level 8 was a welcome surprise, making it easier to afford his expanding family.
With Els being very pregnant, Noah took care of Gabriel.
Time to welcome their second child!
Christopher van der Toorn was born. I realized too late Noah and Els weren't married yet, so he has Els' last name. Oh well, I didn't expect Christopher to be their last baby, so the Mauve name will definitely be passed on :-)
They hired a nanny to take care of the boys when Noah and Els are both at work.
Els got promoted to level 6 of the Politics career! I hope she'll top it soon, because in my ruleset that will unlock the Military career.
She brought home a coworker who kept cuddling and playing with Christopher. Oh well, at least she didn't have to look after him for a moment!
Instead, she spent some time with Gabriel, getting him potty trained.
Christophers crib is in one of the spare rooms, as the nursery only has place for one crib. That might not be my brightest moment ever; such a small nursery in a Family Sim's home.
Els' coworker stayed for so long, he even had dinner with them. He was quite friendly though and a real help with the kids! I'm usually annoyed by coworkers hanging out, but this one was very helpful.
ACR was really going to make Els pop out one baby after another, I'm afraid.
I immediately made sure future babies will have Noah's last name.
Which was a good thing to do, as Els was knocked up - again.
Aww, he might not be the most handsome Sim in Crimson Falls, but I really have a soft spot for Noah. He is so happy about their marriage.
The nanny was actually quite a help around the house, too. I was thinking about hiring a maid for them, but it isn't necessary yet.
Oh, bummer. Els got a bad chance card and got demoted to level 4.
Noah had rolled the want for some fruit trees, so he got them. Winter was barely over, so he couldn't do much with them yet.
Birthday time for Christopher!
I hope he'll grow into that nose. He's also an Aries, 8/8/7/2/8. His character seems great!
Having two toddlers in the house was a handful, but Noah took care of them with endless love and patience.
Luckily, the boys got along very well too.
It's time for Gabriel to grow up!

I furnished a room for the two boys.
I'm not really sure how long they will stay in this house, as there's another baby on the way. They might need a bigger home next week.

Gabriel was thrilled to become a big brother again.
Els used her maternity leave as an opportunity to bond with Christopher.
By the end of the week, the fruit trees started to blossom and Gabriel helped out his dad with taking care of the trees.
This was the last household for week 8.
I'm going to use next rotation to focus more on businesses and trying to earn another university. It's time to get the Sim Multiplier up! As a lot of Sims are about to become adults next rotation, get ready for a baby boom :-)
