Crimson Falls BACC - Week 11: Van der Voeten

Last week, Kendra and Thomas took care of Morgan and Tristan, as Thomas and Anya got divorced. Thomas fell in love with Hannah Davids, who moved in with them. She got pregnant right away, but had a little trouble with accepting the already very close family. They worked on their relationships and when baby Liam was born, everything was fine. By the end of the week, it seemed like Hannah was already knocked up again.

I did make a little mistake here. I wanted Kendra and Hannah to do a friendly hug, but accidentally I clicked romantic. So now they have a crush. Oops. They also became best friends though, which I honestly wasn't expecting last rotation!

Last week, Hannah fired the nanny because she was going to be a stay-at-home mom. This week, I changed my mind. She started at level 2 of the business career.

I knew Kendra would leave us soon. I'm really going to miss her, she was such a great help with the kids!

Liam grew into a toddler, and he's very handsome. Yet a bit boring, but that's what you get when your mom is a Face 1. He is sloppy, serious, nice and active. I really love that he is blonde, though! Must be Kendra's genes.

And he would be a big brother soon.

The family cats, Ash and Annabelle, were getting close to becoming elders. So when Thomas got the chance to adopt a stray cat named Wang, he took it. They changed his name to Akira.

Tristan took Chloe van Achteren home from school. They became friends and I can definitely see them becoming a couple when they become teens!

I saw it coming for a while, but it was still a sad moment when Kendra passed away. She was one of my favourite Sims.

When Kendra died, Akira decided to run away. Thomas reported the missing cat to the police.

That night, there wasn't much time to mourn the loss of Kendra. Hannah gave birth to a baby boy: Seth.

Ash and Annabelle entered elderhood.

While Hannah liked being a stay-at-home mom, she also really loved her job. She got promoted to level 3.

Birthday time! Morgan rolled knowledge/popularity, and her LTW is to become Space Pirate - just like her late grandmother Kendra, awww. She has quite a unique face but I think she is gorgeous.

Thomas was a bit hesitant to get married again, but now that he and Hannah had two kids together, he felt like it was the right time to pop the question.

And it really seemed like a great timing! Taking care of four kids was quite exhausting, but they did a great job.

And there would soon be a fifth child!

Akira got returned by some nice townie. Morgan was very happy to see him again.

Seth became a toddler, and despite his hair color, he looked a lot like Liam.

Liam also aged up, but I missed it as I was watching his little brother's birthday. I only noticed now that he has Thomas' mouth, which I like. It makes it a little les 'face one.'

The next day, it was time for a wedding! Thomas invited his siblings, a friend from work, and even his ex-wife Anya. Cassie (William's girlfriend) couldn't make it to the wedding, but Laia and Travis were present, too.

It was a lovely ceremony, though Liam missed it as he was too busy playing with his dollhouse.

The party was a roof raiser!

Of course, there was a wedding portrait which  now hangs in their living room.

They had an unexpected guest during their wedding night! Say hi to little Morris Mauve.

The next day, both Thomas and Hannah had to go to work. They didn't need a nanny: Morgan could take care of the kids. It was a handful, as Seth is really a very mischievous kid, and the oldest boys kept fighting over a game of SSX. But at the end of the day, all of them were still alive and she even taught Seth how to talk.

Thomas came home with a §50,000 bonus because of a good chance card. Though I needed the money for future universities, I felt more like using it for the kids' saving accounts. I wouldn't like all my future adults to start out with only §20,000, as I have far too many larger houses I'm dying to use when they grow up! So all 5 kids got §10,000 on their bank accounts. The family was still able to pay §20,000 to the university fund.

Speaking of university: Morgan had rolled the want to go to college. She had to roll below 46 (d100) and she did, so she left.

As the last 'Van der Voeten' in this household passed away, I will probably rename the households next week.
