Last week, Sophia van der Voeten and Laia Schol got engaged. They graduated college together.
The first thing they do, is rent a nice apartment together.
Laia tried finding a job in Law Enforcement, but no luck today.
Sophia had better luck: she found an opening in the Medical career. She had to start at level 1, which I thought was weird as she has a college degree in physics. But at least she got a job.
Laia had a little chat with Archibald Langerak, who lived next door, when something happened...
Archie's girlfriend Danielle kissed another neighbour, so Archibald got furious. I guess I'll have some work to do when I reach this household in the next rotation...
Sophia came home with a promotion to level 2.
She arrived at the same time as Josiah Crimson, who was invited by Laia. As both women wanted to have a baby, they needed a donor - hi Josiah! He was already best friends with both of them, so he was perfect.
Yes, Josiah, there was a little science involved. But... Baby on the way!
Sophia got promoted twice in a row, she's now at level 4.
Laia got her first pop! I love how surprised she looks. With two moms, a pregnancy doesn't really come unexpected...
It's hard to see in the dark, but neighbour Danielle is WooHooing on the bench with someone that isn't Archibald. I might kill her when I reach their household, as I never really liked her and she definitely doesn't deserve Archie's love anymore!
Sophia is happy to provide for her family, trying to earn some skills to get another promotion.

I love how happy both Laia and Sophia are all the time. It seems like they're perfectly happy together.
It won't be long now!
Sophia was overjoyed when Laia went into labour. The neighbours also came to witness the birth.
It's a little boy! His name is Blaine.
Jeez, guys, can you maybe not interrupt this happy moment?
Anyway: Blaine is incredibly cute!
She might look happy, but Sophia got a bad chance card.
For some reason, Laia wasn't able to nurse little Blaine - but Sophia was! Oh, how I love families with two moms.
Luckily, Sophia got promoted back to level 5 the next day.
On Sunday, there finally was an opening in Law Enforcement for Laia. Unfortunately she also had to start at level 1.
They were such a happy family!

That night, before the rotation was over, it was time for Blaine to grow up.
While editing the stats, I realized there wasn't an opening in the Medical career so Sophia shouldn't have taken that job. Oops! I'll take care of that next rotation.
