Crimson Falls BACC - Week 11: Van der Storm

Last week, Brandon and Ada moved to a new home which had plenty of room for all of their cats. Their had their first child, a girl named Chloe. They got married with a small ceremony and Ada was soon pregnant with their second child. They adopted a senior male cat named Boots, and he tried for kittens with Baby.

A little note beforehand: I had earned three city-owned businesses which I didn't place yet, so they didn't count for the total number of businesses > SM. As I didn't had any idea for them, I virtually placed them so I can count them for the Sim Multiplier, but they aren't physically in Crimson Falls. That's +1 for the SM!

The week started with a cat fight. Boots won, despite his age.

Taking care of Chloe was a walk in the park. She mostly enjoyed herself, and Brandon and Ada autonomously cared for her when it was needed.


Brandon got promoted to level 8 of the Law Enforcement career.



That night, their son was born: Finnian van der Storm.


With Chloe still being a toddler, they needed another crib. So I placed one in the master bedroom for the time being.



Baby had her litter! Two females and one male. There isn't much diversity, as they are all black/greyish like Boots, though one of the females has a white face which is cute.



Chloe became a child, and I love her. She looks a lot like Ada and has such a sweet face.

I remodeled the house for a bit, and expanded the upper floor. The new room is for Ada and Brandon, with a walk-in nursery for Finnian. When he becomes a child, he will sleep in the room that was previously the nursery. The former master bedroom is now Chloe's room.

I really needed to watch Brandon, as he kept using the telescope (which was great, as he needed some Logic skills to get promoted) and almost freezing.

Chloe was lucky: Ada helped her with her homework after her first school day, but her second dayof school was cancelled because of the snow.

She did invite classmate Becca van der Voeten over though, and they played with the kittens together.

Brandon had a networking-thing with coworker Marissa, saying he got promoted the next time he went to work. Nice! He was promoted to level 9.

Finnian had his first birthday! He looks a lot like Brandon, which I like as his big sister looks just like their mom. Finnian is extemely neat, super active, yet very mean: he has only 1 nice point, just like Chloe.



You wouldn't say Chloe had only one nice point, though. She was such a delight to have around; she kept autonomously playing with the cats and also helped with the fruit trees when the snow was gone.


Birthday time for the kittens! I was a bit disappointed about the lack of variety, though I expected it because of how they looked as kittens. With these three grown into adult cats, that's 10/20 for Brandon's LTW. Halfway there!



Chloe talked to some random townie who walked by about their cats and how they breed them, and invited him inside to play with the cats. I might keep him in mind for when she grows up.


I decided to put all three cats up for adoption, as I didn't like any of them good enough to breed with. Bye guys, we'll probably see you in other Crimson Falls families soon!

The smelly dog house didn't stop Boots and Baby from trying for kittens again right away.


As I felt like Baby and Boots would probably have all solid-colored kittens, I decided to cheat a bit. Pumpkin gave me such lovely kittens, but she was just a couple of days too old to have another litter. So I cheated her three days younger and made her try for kittens with Boots too. I'll age her back to her original age when the kittens are born.

Just in time, as Boots passed away (and I missed it) on Sunday morning.

This family was able to donate §5,000 to the university fund. Every little bit helps!
