Last week, Christopher bought a nice little house for himself. He found a job in the Business career and mostly liked socializing with his neighbours. There was one Sim that kept being on his mind, though: his college fling Silvia Tate. He asked her to move in with him and she happily accepted. Even though Christopher didn't want any kids (Silvia wanted 3), they didn't use birth control and it didn't take long for Silvia to get pregnant. She also found a job, but will only start that after the baby is born.
Just after Christopher left for work, Silvia went into labour.
She had a little girl: Taylor. And a Christopher really didn’t want any more children, Silvia started using birth control right after her birth.
Christopher brought home a promotion. If he does that every day, he might be able to top his career this rotation, meaning +5 for the SM. Fingers crossed!
He was now ok-ish with the whole dad thing. Being a father just wasn’t his cup of tea but he wasn’t completely against it anymore now that he had a daughter. He really didn’t want another kid though.
As neither of them was willing to give up their career in order to take care of Taylor, the nanny was around almost all the time. Not only when they were at work, but also during the evening when they were busy skilling.
Another promotion for Christopher!
The next day, both Silvia and Christopher got promoted. Christopher was well on the way to top his career.

And she looks just like her dad. Aww, while she has such a pretty mom… She is very kind and very sloppy.
Now that Taylor was a bit older, Silvia started to have the want for another baby. Christopher didn’t even want to talk about it. One was enough for him, more than enough actually.
He felt guilty about it, but he just didn’t feel like a fatherly type.
The next day, Silvia got another promotion. She wasn’t a happy with it as she should’ve been. She kept thinking about having another baby and knew she and Christopher wouldn’t have one.
Christopher, who got home with a promotion an hour later, was really excited. He needed only one more promotion to top his career.
Silvia got a networking-thingy. Her coworker told her she would get a promotion tomorrow. Nice!
Silvia indeed got a promotion. But so did Christopher, unlocking another business district! That means the population goes up from 19,053 (32,451) to 20,148 (34,776). That’s over 2/3rd of this challenge!
Now that Christopher topped his career, Silvia started getting her hopes up about Christopher wanting another baby. He didn’t have to spend all his free time skilling anymore, so maybe there’s room for a second one…
Christopher used their earned money to buy a virtual business.
That Sunday, the last day of the rotation, Silvia and Christopher had a long and tough talk about their future.
They were both broken. Silvia really couldn’t take the idea of not having anymore children, while Christopher was feeling quite depressed with his family life. They made a hard decision.
They decided not to tell Taylor until later that day, after her birthday.
That night, Taylor became a child. Christopher still wasn’t sure they were making the right decision.
Silvia wasn’t, either, because they still loved each other very much. But their plans for the future just weren’t compatible.
And with that, Silvia and Taylor moved out.
