Last week, Danielle got pregnant with their second baby, the first one being Amber. Eva was born just before Amber became a child. It didn’t take long for Danielle to get pregnant again and by the end of the week, their third daughter Julie was born.
The stress of having 3 young kids took its toll on the relationship between Josiah and Danielle.
While he was thinking about proposing to Danielle earlier, Josiah felt more and more distance between them.
That Monday, when Josiah was at work, Danielle just packed her bags and left. She left their three daughters with Josiah.
He couldn’t exactly say he was very sad about it, and to be honest neither was I. Josiah invited his friend Marylena over and this was how he greeted her.
He was happy to invited Marylena to come live with them. As I already knew she’s a Family Sim, she would definitely be a great help with the kids.
Marylena Hartjes is a Family/Knowledge Sim with the LTW to become Education Minister. She’s currently in the Military career at level 3. Her ideal family size is 4, so she and Josiah have something to work on!
Marylena was very loving to Amber, Eva and Julie.
Let me tell you this: it won’t be long until she’s pregnant.
Josiah really couldn’t understand how someone could leave their kids behind. Even little Julie, who was still a baby.
I forgot to show they bought a hot tub. Marylena was loving it. Pongo was still there, by the way. He just needed some time adjusting to his new owner.
Josiah got promoted to level 7 from the military career. And Pongo didn’t like their neighbour.
Oops, I missed Julie’s birthday. She looks a lot like Danielle and her middle sister Eva. Julie’s incredibly outgoing and active, and also very neat.
Speaking of Eva: she became a child.
Oh, don’t act so surprised Marylena. This was bound to happen with your constant WooHoo’ing and both being Family Sims.

Right after potty training Julie, Marylena went into labour.
The three girls were all there to see their halfbrother being born.

With Marylena, Josiah actually was sure enough to pop the question. Of course, she happily accepted his proposal.

Amber became a gorgeous teen. She rolled Family/Popularity, just like her dad. Her LTW is to graduate 3 children from college. She’s straight and her ideal family size is 2 - yeah, great, with that LTW.
The next day, Marylena brought home a promotion - and some exciting news: she’s expecting again!
Julie became a child. I can barely see any Josiah in her.
Marylena got her second pop.
With an intimate, small ceremony (where Marylena’s baby bump suddenly disappeared as she changed dresses for some reason, screwing up their entire color scheme), they said ‘I do.’
Of course, there was a wedding portrait. With the right dress for Marylena.
Birthday time for little Caspian! He looks a lot like his mom. He’s incredibly outgoing, quite lazy and very mean. Ahhh.
And just before the rotation was over, little Caspian became a big brother!
He got not one, but two new siblings! It’s twins! Say hi to Fletcher (right) and Marjorie Crimson. When I count Blaine and Effie, where Josiah was the donor, Jo now has 10 biological children. Including 2 sets of twins! Atlas and Odin with Laurie, and these newborn twins with his wife Marylena.
