Last week, Archibald hooked up with Daniëlle at college. After graduating, they moved in together, but while I was playing other households Daniëlle autonomously cheated on Archie. She moved in with Josiah Crimson instead.
Poor Archibald. He moved in to this appartment with his girlfriend Daniëlle, only to be cheated on and ending up all by himself.
This is his apartment. There is one spare room left, and there’s also a nursery - I figured he would probably end up having children anyway, so why not furnish a nursery right away? Archibald lives nextdoor to the Schol household (Laia, Sophia, Blaine and Effie).
ACR made him have a crush on his upstairs neighbour, Jessa Philips. She just graduated college this rotation, so technically, she is still supposed to be at college and I can’t move her in this rotation. I’m in doubt if I should have Archibald live by himself for this entire rotation and move Jessa in at the start of the next one, or have him find another potential spouse.
I think they are really cute together, but it’s quite boring to play a single Sim for an entire week.
I decided to take Archibald to Split Happens, his own business, as I felt like I kept forgetting about businesses. In the meantime I noticed Jessa getting it on with another neighbour, too, so I didn’t feel guilty if Archibald would explore his options.
I already liked the first customer who stopped by, but they had only 1 bolt so let’s see who else shows up.
When he left, the business was at level 4 (money perk, yay!) and he had met quite a few ladies.
He ended up inviting over one of the girls he met at Split Happens. They became friends, but didn’t have any chemistry.
He found a job in the Education career and despite his college degree, could only start at level 2.
He was lucky, getting a good chance card and therefore a promotion after only two hours on the job. He brought home coworker Magda Crimson, but left right away to work again.
That’s two promotions in one day!
And the next day, after some skilling, he got another promotion. I guess this is one of perks of playing one Sim instead of an entire family: I can really focus on his skills and needs.
It’s getting a bit boring, but another day, another promotion.
To meet his social needs, Archie mostly socializes with his neighbours.
He got another promotion on Friday, so he got all the way to level 7 in just one rotation. Too bad it’s weekend now.
I really love the portrait of Robin and Constantijn. And I managed to play the entire week with only Archibald, so let’s see if he and Jessa are still a thing next rotation. Otherwise I really have to start looking for another spouse!
Actually, I figured that I could move in Jessa after 6 PM!
Jessa rolled the want to get engaged, so I didn’t let them waste any time.
Just before the rotation was over, Jessa caused a fire, unlocking another position in Law Enforcement.
