Last week, Josiah got engaged to Laurie Bruinig while at college. Too bad she cheated on him: they broke up and when Josiah graduated, it was clear that he would have to live by himself at first.
After going to university, Josiah Crimson was able to buy a huge house with all the money he and his parents saved for him.
The master bedroom will eventually move upstairs, but 1) he ran out of money and 2) while he lives here by himself, it’s easier for me to play when it’s just one story.
First things first: he’d really like a job in the Military career, but he isn’t lucky today. He accepted a job in Politics (level 2) for the time being, so he can at least earn some money while waiting for his dream job.
The welcome wagon is all playables: Anne Cooper, Scottie Wilson and Alan Oef. No spouse material here, but Josiah greeted them for some socializing anyway.
While his visitors were still around, I caught Josiah making a booty call. I wonder who will show up!
It’s Daniëlle. After what she did to Archibald, I think she might be my least favourite Sim around right now. Josiah definitely deserves better.
They do have three bolts though, and Josiah really seemed to like her... They even got red hearts while WooHoo’ing.
I decided to give them a chance. Daniëlle moved in with Josiah. She and Archibald would never be able to make up anyway.
I really love this house, which was built (once again) by my lovely wife. Josiah really enjoyed the back yard too.
And let’s just say they made good use of their private back yard together.
On his first day of work, Josiah brought home a promotion to level 3. It’s still not in the career he wanted to be in, but they could definitely use the money.
Well that was quick.
While Daniëlle was giving in to her cravings, Josiah found a job in the Military career. He started at level one, which surprised me as he has a fitting college degree. My game is so bugged :-(
Pop! It wasn’t really a surprise, but there’s a baby coming.
Not much happened between the first and second pop.
Josiah got promoted to level 2 of the Military career, right after his first day at the job.
The next morning, while they were skilling, Daniëlle went into labour.
Amber Crimson was born; the first official 4th generation child of this BACC! Of course, Josiah already has two kids with Sophia and Laia, but as he was just a sperm donor for them, I’m going to count Amber as the first gen. 4 kid. As Daniëlle and Josiah aren’t married, she was supposed to have Terlouw as her last name, but I decided to name her Crimson anyway as I’d love to have the first child of every new generation to have the founder’s name. Their second child will probably have Terlouw as last name.
Guys! SHE WAS JUST BORN!
Josiah, being a Family Sim, was so happy with his precious little baby girl.
Daniëlle found a job in the Medical career, starting at level 2.
I thought they had the perfect house for some big dog, so they adopted one.
Everyone: meet Pongo!
Josiah came home with a promotion to level 3, and he brought a coworker with him.
He was very happy to meet their newest family member.
They ditched his coworker as they had more important things to do.
Daniëlle got promoted to level 3, too. I was hoping they would have enough money to furnish the second floor for a bit by the start of the next rotation.
Just before the rotation was over, Amber celebrated her first birthday.
I was really surprised to see she’s blonde! I was expecting just redheads with both ginger parents, but genetics are working in mysterious ways. I love it!
Amber has the exact same personality as her dad, meaning she’s incredibly active, very neat and playful but also quite mean.
