Crimson Falls BACC - Week 7: Philips

Last week, Jonathan Crimson met Jack Philips at college. They fell head over heels in love, and by the time they graduated they were engaged. Jonathan moved back to Crimson Falls and can't wait until Jack can move in with him!
I already played week 7 with the Farijs household, where Maaike was their surrogate and gave birth to a beautiful girl named Jessa on Sunday evening. As this is the same week, Jessa will be added to their family on Sunday evening.

There he is, Jonathan Crimson, excited for his adult life to start!

We already saw he lived nextdoor to his brother Philip Crimson and his wife Mieke. This is the inside of his house, not fully furnished yet but that will be done later - when they need it and have the money for it.

I guess it isn't a surprise who he decides to call right after moving in.

Jonathan is talking to the landlord about his wish to start a family, when his fiancé arrives.

He greets him enthousiastically.

Jack immediately moves in. He grows up in the most horrible outfit. But it doesn't matter, Jonathan is happy and Jack brings in §11,000 - which makes me happy, too.

That's better. Jack is a Family/Knowledge Sim with the LTW to have 6 grandchildren. His character is 4/4/4/7/6 Aquarius.

Jonathan has the LTW to top the Dance career. The first position only opens when a dance studio reaches level 5, so there's some work to do! He buys a community lot. This is the 10th community lot in Crimson Falls, which means +1 for the Sim Multiplier! Yay!

Before going to their new business, Jack and Jonathan have a nice lunch together.

The other Sims really seem to like the dance studio, and Jonathan manages to top his body skill right there. When they leave, Step by Step has reached level 3.


I forgot they already had a telescope in the back yard, so I bought another one. I only realized they now had two when I noticed both of them were gaining Logic skills at the same time. Oh well.

These two are so incredibly happy together, I just love it.

The next morning, they returned to Step by Step. I wanted to get it up to level 5, so Jonathan could start looking for a job. But before they started getting their business to level up, they got married. They took Jack's last name.

It didn't took long for both Jack and Jonathan to earn their golden sales badges, which meant they could start Dazzling. In no time, the store was up to level 5 and there was an open position in the Dance career!

When they got home, Jonathan immediately checked the newspaper to see if he was lucky. He was! He could start off at level 3.

Just a little ACR action in the living room.

Jonathan came home with a promotion to level 4, got right back to work and had a good chance card, which got him promoted to level 5 right away.

That night, while Jack was working on his Logic skill, this happened. I figured it would happen someday, with both of them using the telescope all the time, but the timing could've been better, as Jessa was also joining their family by the end of this week.

When he was dropped off at home the next morning, Jack seemed terrified. Who knows what happened to him...

He immediately runs inside to throw up.

The next morning, he finds out he's pregnant!

Jonathan is over the moon. Having two babies at once would be a handful, but they're definitely going for it. I'm sure they will be great parents.

Jack found a job in the science career. He would start it when their baby is born.

Whenever I stop queueing actions for these two, ACR kicks in and all they do is kiss, hug, flirt and WooHoo. It's adorable yet annoying at the same time.

Nope, it's not the food which made Jack fat, it's his little alien baby.

Jonathan got another good chance card - he's such a lucky guy! He got promoted to level 6.

I furnished their nursery for two babies - let's just hope Jack doesn't have twins. please ignore Jack taking a dump

It's labour time! Right there on the sidewalk. Both Jonathan and the landlord are present at the birth of the little alien.

It's a girl! Her name is Jill. I only realized later that two sisters named Jessa and Jill was quite Duggar-ish, especially with their parents' names also start with a J

That night, just past 6 PM, Jessa was also added to their family. The girls were only one day apart in age.

While Jonathan was at work, Jack took good care of his two little girls.

And we'll end this week with yet another promotion: Jonathan is now at level 7 of the Dance career!

Now that the population got over 1,000, there's quite a lot going on: There's now an open position in the Medical career, an open position in the Journalism career, one more open position in the Education career and the Politics career is unlocked. This is where I tweaked the rules a little bit: I didn't use the rule that only one Sim could be mayor at the same time, as I just know I'm going to forget about it. I changed the rules so that the Military career doesn't need a military base to be build, but it will be completely unlocked once one Sim reaches the top of the Politics career. When it's unlocked, I will move every Sim that enrolls in the Military career to a house in another part of Crimson Falls, just like a military base. But that's not for now :-)
