Last week, Jill graduated college without much else happening.
This week, she bought a nice house. It wasn’t very furnished yet, as she ran out of funds.
Before selling the computer for funds, she found a job in the Business career. She could start at level 2.
Wait what?! So... I completely forgot about her fling with Hunter Dorrestein.
The welcome wagon were three playables: Derek van ‘t Haar, Morgan de Korte and Gary den Dolder.
The four of them - and a townie who walked by - had a nice day getting to know each other.
Morgan even kissed Derek, who is in a relationship! Jill sent them all home before there could start any more drama.
After her first day of work, Jill came home with a promotion to level 3. That, and a baby bump.
She had dinner with two neighbours that walked by, one of them being her sister Jana.
In order to make some money, she had to go to work despite being pregnant. It did pay off though: she got another promotion, followed by another pop.
Cleaning up after herself was not something Jill, being very sloppy, was used to. She had to though, living by herself with not enough money to hire a maid.
Only a couple of hours before she was about to give birth, I sent her to work to get another promotion. It worked.
Right after coming home, her contractions started. She had to give birth by herself, on the sidewalk.
With little Maureen Philips, we crossed the 10,000 population! We’re at 1/5 of this challenge, finally. I guess it’ll go only faster from now on.
For now, Maureen can sleep next to Jill. Don’t mind townie Ramon creeping, he walked by when Jill was giving birth and seemed to feel responsible.
With the bit of money Jill had saved, she renovated the kitchen. She also started furnishing the living room a little better.
I love how the alien eyes skipped a generation. Jill, who is the direct result of alien abduction, doesn’t have them while her daughter has.
The nanny took care of little Maureen, while Jill was raking in another promotion.
She invited Ramon over, and things processed rather quickly between them.
Ramon brought only 902 Simoleons with him, but he had some stuff in his inventory that could be sold.
Here he is after a makeover. He’s a Family/Grilled Cheese Sim with the LTW to have 6 grandchildren. His ideal family size is 5 and he has a job in politics, but I’ll probably put him in Business whenever that option shows up. He has quite a boring and neutral face, but it’s probably a good thing to balance Jill’s features out a bit more.
Jill needed some more friends to get her next promotion, so when Ramon came home from work (promotion, yay!) there were some neighbours over.
Jill’s dad Jack also came for a visit, because it was a special day:
It was Maureen’s first birthday!
She was incredibly outgoing, but very sloppy like her mom and also a bit lazy.
And it seemed like she would soon be a big sister!
Ramon loved Maureen as if she was his own.
With some of the money they saved, Maureen got her own room just before the rotation was over for this family.
