Last week was quite an eventful one for the Dorrestein III family. Marieke turned out to be expecting her third child with Nolan. Nolan found a job in the Law career, but when he was at work, his wife cheated on him with Max Armadillo. Soon after the birth of little girl Florence, Marieke was expecting again. Moses and Gwyneth, their twins, became teens. By the end of the week, another baby was born: Cordelia, who obviously wasn't Nolan's kid. Nolan was very upset and they divorced. Marieke left, taking Florence and Cordelia with her.
Nolan started this week with using his last wish for money.
The portraits of their once so happy family, were still hanging in the living room. The wedding portrait was still in the bedroom and the nursery was empty. I was still deciding what to do with all of that.
Moses was doing a great job at work. He got promoted to level 2.
Rocky, their adorable goofy dog with the huge ears, was doing fine. I felt like I needed to tell you that, because I would probably forget about him otherwise.
I was so sad to find this unfinished portrait on their easel. Just before everything went terribly wrong. So sad.
Moses topped his teen career.
Umm, HELLO?! Burglar alarm?!
Damnit. Moses called the cops, but they just passed each other and the burglar ran away with their car (don’t ask me how).
Marieke stopped by regularly, which Nolan didn’t appreciate.
Rocky had some fun with a stray dog named Roxy, while his owners were at school and work.
Nolan got promoted to level 9!

Gwyneth bought her very first community lot. This is Groove, a small nightclub which unlocks another position in the Slacker career.
Her brother and father both helped her out at the venue.
Moses even had a fling with Didier, one of the visitors, who was bi. But that wasn’t all, Titus (the Sim on the right) also seemed to be interested in him.
Gwyneth wasn’t the best business owner of Crimson Falls. She had a habit of offending her customers, which didn’t help raising the business rank at all.
I was happy when she learned to dazzle and there were finally some stars coming in. They didn’t leave until the venue was at level 5 (which took A LOT of time).
When they got home, Marieke paid another unexpected visit. Nolan was busy working on his knowledge skill, while Marieke used his toilet to... throw up?
Nolan became an elder. I’m secretly hoping one of the kids don’t enroll in college, as it would be very boring to play one elder next rotation, but I don’t want him to move into the retirement home as we’d lose the house (which I love).
Gwyneth met a townie named Felicia, and they really seemed to like each other.
On Sunday evening, it was time to decide if the twins would to go college. Moses had to roll below 48 and he rolled 5, so he went. Nolan waved him goodbye, while his sister was still trying to gain one more skill point before I was going to roll for her.
Despite her trying really hard, Gwyneth’s odds weren’t good. She had to roll below 19 and rolled 24, so she had to stay at home - which wasn’t too bad either, as it was an honour to inherit the house!
Thanks to Gwyneth’s business, they were able to pay 100,000 to the University fund. It could’ve been more, but Moses got 50,000 transmitted to his savings account so he could buy a nice house when he graduated.
