Crimson Falls BACC - Week 10: Van der Voeten

Last week, Thomas was over the moon when his girlfriend Anya turned out to be expecting their first child. They had a little girl named Morgan, and soon after, Anya was pregnant again. They got married, but Anya had a hard time adjusting to the family life. Alwin passed away from old age, and never got to meet Thomas' and Anya's second child: a boy named Tristan. Right after Tristan was born, Anya decided she wasn't ready for this. She and Thomas got divorced. Both of their children stayed with Thomas and his mother Kendra.

Now that their real mom was gone, Kendra was like a (very old) mother to Morgan and Tristan. She missed her deceased husband and really found some new purpose in her life with her grandchildren.

She also decided to adopt another cat: Ash, who used to live in the Lillig household until his last owner passed away earlier this rotation. Ash is a brother of Annabelle, the cat they already had.

Morgan got potty trained.

Thomas got promoted to level 8 of the Law Enforcement career.

He came home just in time to see Kendra get electrocuted. Luckily, she didn't die from it. That's another open position in Law Enforcement, as this is the sixth electrocution in Crimson Falls.

Thomas, being a family Sim, very quickly rolled the want to fall in love again. He invited one of his good friends, Hannah Davids, as they had a couple of bolts (I forgot to write down how many).



It only took a little bit of ACR for them to fall in love, and she moved in right away.

Here she is after a makeover. She's a Family/Knowledge Sim, which fits Thomas very well! Her LTW is to reach her golden anniversary, which is quite boring but can definitely be done. She's a 6/3/6/4/6 Cancer and brought §15,000 with her, which is nice.

Being a Family Sim, Hannah started bonding with Tristan and Morgan right away. She was amazing.

Thomas was lucky: he got a good chance card and got promoted to level 9!

Ah, poor Annabelle.

Oops, I totally missed Morgan's birthday! Here she is as a child.

She autonomously tried to hug Hannah, but Hannah declined. Poor thing. I really need them to work on their relationship a bit more.

So, Family Sims, huh...

Kendra needed to get her priorities straight. Putting down little Tristan in the middle of the hallway to play with Ash.

Not quite a surprise, right?

I was really having a hard time telling Ash (left) and Annabelle (right) apart, they look so similar. They do have a different eye color though.

As Hannah was going to be a stay at home mom, she fired the nanny.

Anya came over for Tristan's birthday and Morgan was so happy to have her mom around. It was adorable. I didn't even invite Anya, she just showed up.

I've never seen this talk to belly interaction getting rejected and it kind of broke my heart for Kendra. Seems like Hannah really doesn't like being touched by other Sims (except for Thomas, of course).

I immediately made them work on their relationship.

I don't think this is going to help, Kendra...

I love Kendra so much. I really don't want her to die :-( I'm not even over Alwin's death yet.

Don't look so surprised, Hannah, you're a Family Sim after all.

Tristan learned how to talk.

Meet Liam Davids.


Right after the birth of Liam, Hannah put him down to get Tristan potty trained.

Thomas got his final promotion and reached the top of Law Enforcement! It wasn't his LTW (which is to have 6 grandchildren), but it's definitely an accomplishment.

Already?! Oh well.

And right before the rotation was over, I missed another birthday. Here's Tristan as a child.
