Crimson Falls BACC - Week 7: Van der Storm

Last week, Sarah became an elder. She and her husband Kevin adopted little Brandon, who was previously adopted by late Goofy Kardinaal. Brandon was the same age as Casssie (Sarah and Kevin's daughter), and they grew up to children together. Oscar became a teen and fell head over heels in love with Lynn, a townie. Sadly, Kevin passed away by the end of the week, leaving Sarah devastated.

Now that Sarah was alone and had three children and a cat to take care of, it was time for her to leave her small house. She had more than enough money, thanks to her businesses Sax &Violins and Club Cassie.

The family moved to a nice multiplex home.

A quick look at the inside. Oscar and Brandon share a room, while Cassie has a room for herself. There's a garage, but no car yet.

Kimo the cat was still the apple of Sarah's eye.

I didn't mention it, but their neighbours are Jurriaan and Jacob Dorrestein. I thought, now that Nolan was at college and Emmy passed away, it would be the right time for them to move as well. With Jacob being a Family Sim, their old home would be too small for him if he wants to have kids when he's an adult.

Sarah rolled the want to write a novel, so she spends most of her days writing. Now that she's an elder, she's pretty boring to me.

Brandon brought this girl home, her name is Ada. They got along very well and became friends.

Oscar is such a nice big brother, autonomously reading to Cassie and Brandon all the time.

Sarah finished her novel. It isn't a bestseller, but it brought in §2,032 so now they have enough money to buy a car. Sarah kept rolling that want, so she was very happy about it.

Sarah pays a quick visit to Sax & Violins and Club Cassie, getting the last one up to level 4.


When she returns home, she maxes out her creativity skill. That will definitely come in handy while writing novels.


Oscar brings home Celeste, they have two bolts together. Oscar already has a girlfriend (Lynn) so I don't let them act on their two bolts, but I quite like Celeste so I'm definitely keeping her in mind for another Sim.


Both Cassie and Brandon are doing great at school. Sarah doesn't have many attention for them though, all she wants to do is write, write, write.


I never realized that when you put a litter box outside, the landlord cleans it. Nice!


Cassie and Brandon became best friends, just in time for their birthday!



I love it when they grow up (almost) simultaneously.

Here's Brandon. He rolled Family/Popularity with the LTW to raise 20 puppies or kittens.

 Cassie rolled Wealth/Knowledge, her LTW is to earn §100,000.


I aged Ada up with Brandon, as I really liked them together.


Sarah finished another novel, this one is a bestseller. She gets §2,930 for it.


Kimo became old :-( It won't be long until we have to say goodbye to him.



That night, the sixth burglary in Crimson Falls happened, which opens yet another position in Law Enforcement. It's time to start using these positions though, as all positions are still open now.


Are you kidding me?! She did manage to stop him after he stole the car, though. They got §2,500 insurance money.


I realized they still had the magic lamp, and two wishes left. So I made Brandon wish for some money.


And I use the last wish for Cassie, as I wasn't sure it would count for her LTW but I could try, right?


It was already Sunday, and I realized that it was time to send Oscar off to college. He had that want for a while now. He has an A+ in school so that gives him at least one scholarship.

There he goes. I can't believe how big all those kids are getting!
