Crimson Falls BACC - Week 7: Crimson

We have no Sims in uni this time, so let's move on to week 7 with the Crimson family!
Last week, Matthew (Lucas' and Rianne's oldest son) grew up to an adult, while his three younger brothers were all at university. His highschool sweetheart Magda grew up with him and moved in. At their wedding, our founder Lucas passed away of old age. Rianne found some comfort with Philip - Lucas' alien child - which was gross. At the end of the week, things got better for the Crimsons: Magda gave birth to a little boy named Josiah. Let's see what they're up to this week!


Matthew is such a good father. He keeps rolling wants for little Josiah.


He's doing great at work, too. On his first workday of this week, he got promoted to level 6.

Life was good for Matthew.


The next day, they had to hire a nanny because they all had to work.



Both Magda and Matthew brought home a promotion. Magda is now at level 4 of the Education career, Matthew is at level 7 of the Architecture career.


It's birthday time!


Josiah is a little redhead! I really love how the genes work in the Sims 2. Josiah is a Scorpio, and quite a grumpy one too: 8/4/9/8/1.


That night, Magda found out Josiah would be a big brother soon! I decided to let ACR decide when they will have children, and how many they will have. As both Matthew and Magda are Family Sims, I thought it'd be nice to see what ACR has in mind for them.


Rianne loved taking care of her grandson.


She only needed one more promotion to top Oceanography, but instead, she had a bad chance card :-( She's now back at level 8.


Spending some time with Josiah always cheers her up though.

And soon, she would have yet another grandchild to take care of!

Luckily, she got promoted again next day. She doesn't have to work for the rest of the week, so I'm just hoping she will not die this week. It isn't even her LTW, but I'd like my Sims to top their careers before they die. And I think it would be very sad if she just didn't make it.

She befriended a stray cat, but just as she wanted to adopt him, he ran away.


Josiah got potty trained!


Just in time, because he's about to become a big brother.


It's a girl! The first girl born in this family! Her name is Grace.


Rianne is thrilled, too.



More promotions! Magda got promoted to level 5, Matthew to level 8.


Josiah learned to talk, and again, just in time, as it's his birthday!

I think he mostly looks like Matthew.

Rianne started a fire. This one was quite intense, as I forgot to install alarms in this house and they just wouldn't stop panicking to extinguish it.

Just when I thought someone would definitely die in this fire, Matthew got brave and put it out.


Josiah really wanted a lemonade stand, so he got one. His very first customer was his own grandma.

Oops, I totally missed Grace's birthday. She looks so much like her mom! She's a 7/4/9/7/6 Cancer.

I kind of forgot about their greenhouse. Now that Rianne is still alive (yay, she didn't pas away this week! I'm afraid she will die the next day, though), and she has the golden Gardening badge, I made her plant some stuff.

Matthew and Magda decided a third baby would be very welcome to their little family, just when it was midnight.
