Crimson Falls BACC - Week 7: Dorrestein

It's time to visit the Dorrestein household again. Last week, they decided to adopt Jacob as they only had Nolan at home. Nolan became a teen and purchased a community lot, Beyond Monopoly.

We start this seventh week with a little ACR action. Of course.

Nolan went to Beyond Monopoly. His LTW is to earn 100,000 Simoleons, and that won't be hard because he already has the golden Sales badge. So he set the entry fee to 999 Simoleons and starts dazzling.

His LTW is reached in no time at all. I think that's the first time I actually completed a LTW of a teenager!

He immediately starts bragging to Ingrid Kijiduin about the amount of money he earned.

When he leaves, his business is at level 8 and his new LTW is to have 50 first dates - no thanks.

Jacob is really looking up to his big brother.

To be honest, Jurriaan and Emmy are getting quite boring. I don't like playing elders. She's on the computer blogging about her hobbies most of the time.

Nolan brought home a classmate named Marieke, and they really hit it off.

Jacob seems very interested in his big brother's flirting skills. Nolan and Marieke are having a date, as Nolan rolled that want.



He gets his first kiss, but right after Marieke leaves because she has to pee?! Oh well. It was a dreamdate.

Birthday time! Jacob became a teen, and quite a handsome one too! He rolled Family/Pleasure, with the LTW to reach his golden anniversary. It's a bit boring, but it can definitely be done.

They had another burglar, but thanks to the alarm, nothing was stolen.

Nolan brought home Marieke again and they're all over each other.

Jacob brought home a friend, too: It's Samantha, who he was already friends with as a child. She grew up with him. Being a Family Sim, he immediately rolls the want to have his first kiss and go steady with her. Jurriaan and Emmy seem so proud!

The look on Marieke's face when Jacob asked Samantha to go steady was just creepy, though.

She quickly left the room to have some ACR WooHoo with Nolan.

Aww, besides going steady, Jacob and Samantha also shared their first kiss.

And after their WooHoo, Nolan also rolled the want of going steady. So now both brothers have a girlfriend, I think it's adorable.

Jacob got the magic lamp! We won't use it now, but it will definitely come in handy in the future.

The brothers had a little fun. They are getting along very well.

That afternoon, when they came home from school, I made them both hug their mother. Because I knew what was coming...

Emmy passed away of old age. She was in platinum when she died.

Both Nolan and Jacob were devastated. And for some reason, she did get the platinum grave, while my other Sims who died in platinum didn't. Jurriaan was at work when his wife died.

Nolan didn't had a lot of time to think about his mother's death. He wasn't planning on going to college, but he rolled the want and got the SimCity Scholar's Grant. Only one scholarship isn't enough for Mauve University, but Crimson Falls also has a public university he can attend.

So we end this week with Jacob waving his brother goodbye.
