FunkyFresh Sims

Last week, this was still called the Bruinig household. Marsha gave birth to Josie, who is Philip Crimson's daughter. In case you don't remember: she already had a child with the married Simon Dorrestein, another daughter named Laurie. In the meantime, Marsha fell in love with Tako Rossi. They decided to move in together and got married by the end of the week. Laurie is a child and Josie a toddler by now.

They moved to a bigger house, as I was pretty sure they would have a third baby soon.

I really challenged myself while furnishing this house, chosing items I actually don't quite like and don't use quite often. But I'm pretty happy about how it turned out, even though it really isn't my style. It isn't completely furnished yet, as I ran outof money.

Marsha managed to get Josie potty trained.

~~ACR~~ Tako was trying really hard to get Marsha pregnant again.

And it looks like it worked!

Laurie brought home her cousin Josephine Plaatsjes, who is Simon's niece (Robin's child). Tako keeps an eye on them while they're playing in the living room.

Josie had a birthday. She isn't too thrilled about it.

Just a snapshot of the newlyweds eating burnt food and talking about their lack of money.

Josie isn't the prettiest Sim in Crimson Falls. That might even be an understatement.

Marsha seems surprised when she gets her first bump. A Rossi baby on the way!

She helps Josie with her homework.

The girls are ecstatic to have a baby brother or sister!

And luckily, they're getting along quite well too. Is it just me or do they look so very different? I really couldn't tell they were siblings if I didn't know it.

Tako gets promoted to level 7 and immediately starts skilling for his next promotion.

Despite being pregnant, Marsha went to work as they needed the money. She gets home with a promotion to level 8 - and a cold.

That night, she gets her second pop.

Both of the girls brought home a friend from school, and Marsha has a friend over, too. They all hang out in the living room, while Tako is working on his skills. You might recognize Jolie Farijs.

It's birthday time for Laurie!

She's gorgeous. She rolled Family/Romance, with the LTW to WooHoo with 20 different Sims. That really sucks. I don't like Romance Sims at all, and I wasn't aware having Romance as a secondary aspiration could result in this LTW. Boo-hoo. If she's anything like her mom, WooHooing 20 different Sims might not be a problem, but I'm not sure I will try it.

Aww, Marsha, you were so close! Having a cold while being pregnant really isn't easy.

Josie is having a little fun with the stairs.

That night, Marsha was too tired to get upstairs so she slept in Laurie's room. She goes into labour right there.

It's another girl! Her name is Abbie.

Laurie brought home Hunter, who is Simon's son so actually her half brother. I'm not really writing a story, but I keep questioning myself whether or not Laurie knows who her father is. I think she does not, as Simon probably want to kept her a secret from his wife. That means that she just befriended Hunter without knowing he's actually her brother.

When Tako gets home, he immediately goes inside to meet his daughter.

Olaf Bertels walked by, and Josie talked with him for a bit.

Guys, there really isn't room enough for another child in this house...

...as I just furnished the last spare room they had left to be a skilling room.

It's a nice room with good lightning, great to work on some skills.

They had a nice lunch together afterwards.

Tako already was a great stepfather to Laurie and Josie, but having a baby of his own really made him happier than he ever was.

Having a teen sister had his benefits for Josie!

As both Laurie and Josie had rolled the same want, Tako made a call. He wanted to make the girls happy.

Meet Frankie! She's one of the Plaatsjes puppies.

Josie was so incredibly happy, her head was actually stuck like this.

The three sisters are adorable together. I like how they're all a different age.

It's birthday time for Abbie!

She's a 10/10/1/3/7 Leo. Quite a character!

Josie has a quick dinner with her little sister.

Tako took Abbie to the potty for the very first time.

But she wasn't the only one who should be potty trained :-)

Last week, Simon and Ellie spent most of their time at work or taking care of their son Hunter. Ellie got pregnant again, and soon after Hunter grew up to a child, Ryder was born.

With another baby, it was time for the Dorrestein family to move to a new house.

This is the inside, with bedrooms and bathrooms for Hunter and Ryder on the ground floor, and eeverything else on the first floor.

Simon enjoys the view with a nice breakfast.

Having two kids quite far apart in age is great for them. While Hunter is at school, Ryder gets all the attention.

The welcome wagon brings Lynn Tanaka, Marieke van Oosterom and Berend Lillig. They hang out for a while.

Hunter brings home his cousin Josephine from school. They become friends.

That night, he sleeps in his own room for the first time. In their previous home, his bed was in his parents' room.

Ryder still has his crib in Simon and Ellie's room, which is a nice benefit for Ellie who has to nurse him during the night.

The next morning, Simon helps Hunter with his homework.

And while his parents are having a nice breakfast, Hunter has some fun outside, still in his pajamas.

The next day, Simon gets his final promotion in the Slacker career and reaches his LTW! That als opens one position in the Show Business career.

Hunter has as little fun with the pinball machine his mom bought for enrolling in the Gamer career.

I don't think a bottle is going to take that green cloud away, Si...

I wanted to put Ellie on birth control, as this house only has room for two kids. But as Hunter wil be a teen by the end of this week, he will probably be off to college by the time a possible third child will need a bedroom of his/her own. So I just let ACR decide.

Hunter brings home his cousin Eleanor, but they don't get along very well.

Birthday time! Let's see what Ryder looks like.

Simon and Ellie don't make the prettiest kids in the Sim world, but I really like that he has Ellie's blonde hair! He's a Scorpio, 10/6/8/7/3. He and Simon become best friends right away.

Ellie got promoted to level 7!

Ryder isn't tired enough to sleep, so Simon has to wait until his energy bar hit the red.

They have a little midnight dinner/breakfast.

When Ryder finally falls asleep, Simon tucks in Hunter and finally goes to bed.

The next morning, both Simon and Ellie had rolled the want to buy a car. So here it is! They have room for 4 cars in their carport/driveways, so there might be more of them later.

There's quite a lack of Ellie in this update, so here she is with Ryder.

She gets a bad chance card and gets demoted to level 6. Luckily, she can go back to work right away.

Hunter brings home Jolie Farijs from school, and they become friends.

Ellie gets promoted right back to level 7 that night.

Ryder and Ellie become best friends, and he learns how to use the potty.

The two brothers are adorable together. I really must consider my other Sims having their children further apart in age, too. They usually pop out one after another.

It's a double birthday, on this very last evening of the week!

Here's Ryder. I think he looks a lot like his mom.

And here's Hunter. He rolled Fortune/Pleasure with the LTW to become Celebrity Chef.
