Crimson Falls BACC - Week 8: Van der Storm

Last week, Sarah moved to another house with three of her children. Cassie and Brandon became teens, Kimo the cat became old and by the end of the week, Oscar left for college.

Now that Kimo was getting old, both Cassie and Brandon had rolled the want to adopt another cat. Meet Pumpkin! She's a daughter of Misty and Brock from the Lillig household.

Cassie and her adoptive brother Brandon were so close together. It's nice to see their great bond, and they're also exactly the same age. It's like they're twins!

With Sarah nearing the end of her life, she transfers both Sax & Violins and Club Cassie to Cassie, together with the business perks she earned during her life.

Not again... The cops failed to catch him, but luckily he didn't steal anything.

The best thing about apartments must be the landlord who repairs any broken stuff. I love it.

Kimo and Pumpkin are getting along great. That's nice, because I'm planning on them having a bunch of kittens as soon as Pumpkin grows up. It's Brandon's LTW to raise 20 puppies or kittens and I have never tried that one before, so I'll definitely give it a shot.

Brandon is making sure he's looking good, as he invited Ada over.

They have a date and Brandon rolled the fear of Ada being smelly. I've never seen that one before!

Anyway, they have a dreamdate and share their first kiss. I also let them go steady.

Ada brings Brandon a nice bouquet, which he put on his desk.

She also leaves a giant television as a gift. I sold it right away.

As if a burglary wasn't enough, Brandon also set the stove on fire. Luckily they had a fire alarm. That's one more opening in the Law Enforcement career!

Pumpkin grew up to an adult cat!

As I wasn't sure how much time Kimo had left, I made them have a little fun right away.

Cassie wanted to go to university, so she did some skilling to get some scholarships later.

Sarah was still busy with writing novels.

Brandon rolled the want to call his big brother Oscar almost every day. I think it's cute.

Of course, Pumpkin had to have her kittens where there was barely any light. She had three kittens; two females and one male. I didn't name them, as I'm planning to give them up for adoption when they have grown up. Three kittens is a good start for Brandon's LTW!

While Cassie was just getting to know the new additions to the family, Kimo and Pumpkin ran off to the dog house to ensure there would be more kittens soon.

The next couple of days, all they did was raise the kittens. Brandon loved every minute of it.

Sarah finished her book. It's a bestseller and she gets §3,175.

Brandon loves taking care of the cats.

Pumpkin gives birth to one more kitten, another female. They now have 6 cats so they can't have any more - for now.

I saw it coming, but I still hated it :-(

Sarah was one of my favourite Sims in Crimson Falls, despite being quite boring as an elder.

Everyone was devastated when she passed away.

Cassie felt quite guilty, but as it was the end of the week, she had to leave for college if she ever wanted to go to university. She got four scholarships: one for the good grades, one for the high charisma skill, one for the high cleaning skill and the one because she just became an orphan.

She gave Brandon one last hug before she left.

Poor Brandon cried himself to sleep that night. Despite having six cats, he felt incredibly lonely.

Crimson Falls BACC - Week 8: Dorrestein

Last week, Nolan reached his LTW of earning §100,000. Jacob became a teenager and hit it off with a townie named Samantha. They had his first kiss and started going steady. At the end of the week, Emmy passed away of old age. Nolan left for college and that left only Jurriaan and Jacob at home.

Here they are. For some reason, Jacob lost his clothing as they moved to another house. I decided they would live next to the Van der Storm family, as Jacob would inherit the house and their previous house was too small for him to start a family.

So here it is. The green bedroom is Jurriaan's, the black and white bedroom is Jacob's - and will probably be turned into a kids bedroom when Jacob starts his family. There's one spare room, that's empty for now but will probably be a nursery later.

Now that they have a big house, they decided to adopt a pet.

I feel so sorry for Jurriaan. He seems quite lonely without Emmy.

The next morning, Jacob had rolled the want to adopt another puppy. I was like: why not?

So here's Penny.

Both Jurriaan and Jacob can't get enough of playing with the puppies.

But with little puppies come great responsibility. And with two puppies, that's twice as much pee in the living room :-)

Penny and Piper also like each other a lot. I'll stop the puppy-spam now.

Josiah Crimson came home with Jacob. They had a nice dinner together and became friends.

ACR kicked in: Jurriaan and Sarah van der Storm fell in love. I thought it was quite cute. They're both about to die of old age, so I'll let them have a little fun while it lasts.

Sarah's kids, Cassie and Brandon, weren't so happy about it though.

I'm a softie, but when I know a Sim is about to die, I like to let them hug their loved ones.

Jacob was devastated when the Grim Reaper arrived.

Goodbye, Jurriaan! I sent his grave to the graveyard.

Living all by himself (with Piper and Penny, of course) was quite lonely. Almost every day, Jacob brought home a friend. Today it's Marie Koopmans, who he befriended.

It's probably clear because of their coloring, but just to be sure: Piper is the big blonde one, Penny is the small black one.

Jacob keeps inviting friends over, and he also get a lot of support from Cassie and Brandon. The dogs are also a great comfort to him.

On Sunday evening, just before the rotation is over, he invites his big brother Nolan and Nolan's girlfriend Marieke over. They have a nice evening together and when they leave, Jacob's social bar is all in the green.
